The new Gen 2 enclosure is a rugged weatherproof enclosure constructed from molded UV stable fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP).  It is ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications and is well suited for high temperature or corrosive environments.  Every Gen 2 enclosure comes standard with a fully gasketed lid ensuring NEMA integrity, stainless steel hinge and padlockable latches for corrosion resistance and an integral mounting flange for mounting without the need for extra hardware.  The color of the Gen 2 enclosure is an aesthetically pleasing machine tool gray (RAL 7035), allowing for a clean, cool, neutral appearance in any application.

 

The complete redesign of the Gen 2 enclosure is highlighted by options that include a universal slotted mounting plate for unlimited equipment mounting patterns, a DIN rail mounted terminal block for quick and safe installation of power, a slimline removeable filtered vent system for proper air ventilation and a built-in thermostat-controlled heat and fan system for trouble-free environmental operation of equipment.  Another new Gen 2 option allows for the substitution of the standard thermostat with a user adjustable dual thermostat for precise control of the enclosure environment.

 

The new Gen 2 enclosure is now offered in multiple sizes allowing for the perfect fit to the application.  The sizes include the N12, N14, N18 and new N20.
